KUTATÁSI BESZÁMOLÓK - SZAKÁL AURÉL: Dudatípusok a Kárpát-medencében. Az Alföld és a szomszédos területek dudatípusai

windbag was developed (fig. 5), and later the one with a short bourdon came to existence (fig. 6). Romanian pipers in the region Bánát used the pipe-type "gajde"; they called it cimpoi. In the case of the pipe-types above, the tunes were played on double pipe-stems with two mouthpieces made of reeds or elder on the basis of the "clarinet-principle." The pipe-type called dude (fig. 8) used by the Croatians living along the river Drava is an instrument without a carved pipe-head, with a windbag, long bourdon, and a pipe-stem provided with three or four mouthpieces. This is a modofied pipe with double pipe-stems. 189
