PÉTER ERDÉLYI MILITARY DOCUMENTS IN TARI LÁSZLÓ MUSEUM, CSONGRÁD The paper contains a fully detailed description of military documents preserved in Tari László Museum in Csongrád. The paper publishes the descriptions in thematic arrangement (discharge papers, call-up papers, certificates, posters, letters, tables of ex-servicemen and other military documents) and in chronological order (from the middle of the 19th century to 1950). While describing the processed material we considered the content of the text in the document, also its typographical data, together with the proper names mentioned in it, as well as the circumstances under which the document was taken to the museum and also the size of the document. The processing of the material started at the beginning of the 1990s led by Ferenc Temesváry, the firearms expert of the Hungarian National Museum. Our aim was to help scientific research and reference, alongside with the organization of exhibitions.
