The introductory study describes the circumstances under which the inventory came into being. This document is of great significance as it signifies the foundation of a Town Historical Collection within the wide collection of the museum. The volume looks over the enrichment of the collection until 1943, when the book came to an end. Afterwards in the course of historic crisis (World War II, communist regime) a part of the collection was destroyed. Thuswise with the help of inventory-notes the volume introduced here presents the items of a collection not existing any more.
