Social Construction of Health Among Szeged Youth Viktor Bene - Anita Hegedűs - Anett Kiss - Bertalan Pusztai In the framework of a larger multidisciplinary project since September 2017, we have been conducting research on the social construction of the concept of health and the mediatisation of the discourse of health. One focal point of the project is to discover the notion of health and healthy lifestyle. We have shed light on this through focal group interviews conducted in different age groups. This paper examines the understanding of health and healthy lifestyle among young people aged 18-35 in Szeged. The paper starts with summarizing the definitions and dimensions of health. After that, it examines the relation of the understanding of health and social norms. In the next section, we introduce the methodology of the research. Finally, the paper presents the findings of the research. 399
