Anikó Kovács-Krassói - Konstantin Medgyesi - Andrea Vészits Forms of the secret: one day, two letters Forms of the secret: one day, two letters Additions to the secret and official correspondence of Ferenc Móra and Ilona Kalmár Anikó Kovács-Krassói - Konstantin Medgyesi - Andrea Vészits In the summer of 1932, during a recreational visit to Balatonföldvár, love sparked between Ferenc Móra, a journalist, archeologist and the director of the Cultural Palace of Szeged named after him, and between Ilona Kalmár, a young woman from Kiskunfélegyháza. Their relationship lasted until 1934, right until the death of Ferenc Móra. This relationship resulted in a cycle of 34 poems, organized into a book of poems titled "A book without a title” and numerous letter which Ilona Kalmár received from Móra. During their relationship they engaged in dual correspondence, an "official" ones - through their family friendship and a secret one, for the eyes of the recipient only. In our study we randomly selected and analyzed two letters born on the conceived on the same day. In these randomly selected, parallel letters the everyday life of Móra, the emotions stemming from their relationship and interestingly, politics have fused together. The correspondence with Ilona Kalmár is also an excellent source for the reconstruction of Ferenc Mora’s everyday life and mentality between 1932 and 1933. The fullest possible processing and publication of this collection of documents is an important task for researchers of literary history. 283
