Saliga Irén: A Móra Ferenc Múzeum Évkönyve Reperlóriuma 1956-1991/92-1. (Szeged, 2003)

The Report of the Yearbook of Móra Ferenc Museum (1956–1991/91–1)

IREN SALIGA THE REPERTORY OF THE YEARBOOK OF MÓRA FERENC MUSEUM (1956-1991/92-1) The Repertory includes the volumes of the periodical entitled Yearbook of Móra Ferenc Museum published between 1956-1992-1. These volumes - following nationwide practice - cover the scientific field of archaeology, ethnography, history, literature, art history and natural science. However, becoming more and more modernized the museum had outgrown the given framework of its scientific publications. Therefore the yearbook was divided into five separate sections in year 1995. Before this the previous series had represented a unified structure, while since 1995 the individual volumes of each scientific field are issued independently. In the framework of the earlier structure each volume signed /2 used to refer to an independent monographic work written by an individual author. Nonetheless, there are unpublished volumes of the kind within the series. These are the following: 1986/2., 1987/2., 1988/2., 1989/2., 1989/90/2., 1991/92/2. By publishing the Repertory we aimed at providing help for scholars in searching for scientific material for further studies. The structure of the work is the following: 1. catalogue of fields 2. list of authors 3. subject index The first, analytical part of the Repertory groups the articles according to a certain catalogue of fields within which the individual studies are listed in alphabetical order of the authors. Then the works of each author are given in chronological order. The second part, the list of authors, gives reference to the individual studies of the authors and co-authors. The third part, the subject index, provides a list of subject headings and their variants. In due course of forming the subject headings used in the index we stacked to the original titles given by the authors themselves. 72
