Idegen nyelvű összefoglalók

Not only Rózsás troop had an ’’outlaw” look and armaments. In the autumn of the year of 1848, the crew of the Hunyadi Hussar Regiment (the 13th) was also ready to use the arms of the outlaws in the clashes fought with the imperial troops but we know about several corps using the bullwhip. Such free troops functioned in the summer of 1849 in South Transdanubia, in Baranya and Tolna counties (for example the famous ’’warriors using the bullwhip from Bonyhád”) and the members of the cavalry fighting in Bácskaság, the so-called ’’Kiskun free cavalry”, also used it. So did the members of the ’’Bihar county free cavalry” as well, which consisted of outlaws and prisoners partly in prison and which was guided by Imre Gázsy. In our work these corps have also been briefly discussed. Translated by Endre Katyi
