A békéscsabai Munkácsy Mihály Múzeum Történeti Adattárának mutatói The documentation of the Historical Archives documentation has been explored with the help of the following indicators: chronology, indicators of name and object and geographical name. Some guidelines to the use of the indicators:- The indicators convey inventory ledger entries, inventory registration numbers and descriptions of authors and titles.- The first member of the inventory registration number contains the ever- increasing serial number of the items registered in the inventory ledger. The second four-digit unit of the inventory registration number, separated by a hyphen, indicates the time of acquisition by the museum, and the year of the inventory: e.g., 1-1954. The cronological indicator communicates, in the cronological order of the inventory registration numbers, the items of the collection. The full texts of these have been published in the original letter type.- In the indicator of names, the authors are listed in alphabetical order. The indicator of names also contains persons’ names and institutions’ names referred to in the title.- In the indicator of object, studies may affect several areas, therefore, a study indicator number may show up in different subject groups.- In the indicators of geographical names, as to the settlements otside the county, their counties have also been shown, and, in the case of place- names abroad, the country is indicated. The Munkácsy Mihály Museum has had a national ethnic and Romanian and Slovakian sphere of collection since 1978. The indicators of geographical names outside the border express the important and gradually expanding system of international relations of our institution.
