E = Tabajd Evaporitc; D = Dinnyés Dolomite Balaton Highland Red Sandstone; Polymict psephites Silicified wood, reptile foot prints Weak uranium anomaly 1 = Kékkút Dacite; 2 = Gelse Quartz Diorite; 3 - Dinnyés Granodioritc Velence Granite: aplite and kersantite dykes, orthoclase-biotite pegmatites, quartz-fluorite-barite veins, Zn-Pb-Cu ores, Mo-W indication, U anomaly. Biotite-amphibolc andésite (Eocene?) with zeolites. Country rock = shale, andalusite (knotted) schist, homfels, tourmaline schist, topaz fcls (?), magnetite skarn (?). Füle psephites, psammites; siltstone. Carbonaceous plant fossils, leaf prints; Calamités (Andrcánszky, 1960); spores, pollens = Verrucosporites sp., Granulosporitcs (Barabásné Stuhl Á., 1971, 1975; Mihály, 1980). Polgárdi-2 borehole (Majoros, 1971). Visean slate, schistose sandstone, slate with quartz veinlets, black bituminous limestone = algae, foraminifers, corals, brachiopods (Productus sp.), gastropods, etc. (Földvári, 1952; Kiss, 1951; Kolosváry, 1951; Mihály, 1971; Monostori, 1972, 1974). Dark grey limestone, knotted schist. Conodonta sp. (Kozur & Horváth). A: Polgárdi Limestone Formation: quartz porphyry (Permian?), andésite (Triassic?, Eocene?). Ore mine, K-3, -7, -8, -11, P-l boreholes. B: Úrhida Limestone, steeply dipping (Horváth, I.) Conodonta-Tcntaculata (Kovács, S.) Kékkút limestone, calcareous marl, "dolostonc": Conodont, Tcntaculata species (Kovács, S). Silt, scricite slate, mcta-andesite porphyritc, Révfülöp, Rf-6 borehole. Lovas-Tét siltstone, metasandstone; dark grey and black siliceous slate (lydite) = Graptolitha, Radiolaria, Scolecodonta, Conodonta (Oravccz, 1964; Kozur, 1984). Liter Metabasalt, Alsóörs Metarhyolite (porphyroid). Balatonfökajár = quartz phyllite, sericite phyllite, chlorite-quartz phyllite; erosion surface = Calamités caunaeformis internal mould (Kiss & Andrcánszky, 1962). Staurolitc- and garnet-bearing quartz-mica schist; garnet-bearing quartzmica schist = Balatonhídvég-1, -2 boreholes;chlonte- andgamet-bearing albite-muscovitc-biotitc schist = Sávoly-7 borehole (Árkai, 1987). Acritarch silty slate, dolomitic limestone, C = 2-3%, Szb-9, 10 boreholes (Albani et al., 1985; Majoros). Fig. 4.
