Thin veins of albite are intersected by REE-rich epidote I and it has a weak chemical zonality and zoning is caused by substitution of Fe3+ <-> Al. Quartz, Si02, is one of the genetically youngest minerals in this Alpine paragenesis. It forms veinlets and nets composed of thin veinlets in metabasalts, and also in axinite- (Fe), albite and calcite (Figs. 2 and 3). Titanite, CaTiSi05, occurs as an accessory mineral in metamorphic rock (Fig. 12). It creates crystals up to 0.04 mm in size in the albite or epidote II. 5. Discussion and conclusions On the locality Miskolc-Lillaiured we have described axinite mineralization in Tri- assic metabasalts. Mineral assemblage forms thin veins and it is characterized by the presence of calcite, quartz, albite, clinozoisite-epidote, magnetite, clinochlore and axinite-(Fe). In epimetamorphosed basalts the main mineral are epidote, quartz, but actinolite, clinochlore, titanite, fluorapatite, and hematite also occur. Successional scheme of mineralization from oldest to youngest ones: albite —> clinozoisite/epidote —► magnetite —> calcite —>■ quartz. Position of clinochlore is questionable. This mineralization is a classic type of Alpine paragenesis in metabasaltic rocks of the Carpathians. Axinite mineralization in Lillafüred is an analogue to almost the same axinite mineralization in metabasalts of crystalline basement of the Tatric Unit occurring in Limbach in the Maié Karpaty Mts. in western part of the Slovak Republic, where sulphides, e.g. pyrite and chalcopyrite, were also described (Vrána, 1966; Ozdin et al., 2006). Based on two axinite occurrences in the Carpathians (Miskolc and Limbach), which are almost identical in mineralogical, petrological and geological manner, we can suppose a similar genesis for both of them. In Limbach the estimated homogenization temperature (Th) is in the range of 133 to 204°C (mean Th 158°C) based on the study of fluid inclusions. Ice melting temperature (Tm) is in the range of -2.8 to —12.9°C (mean -9.18°C). Average of salinity of fluid inclusions is 12.8 NaCl wt. % eq. Other occurrences in the Spis-Gemer Ore Mountains also have similar mineral
