Idegennyelvű összefoglalók - Historic Buildings in County Borsod-Abaúj Zemplén

general, including the remainings of folk art. We attempt to differentiate the more or less independent architectural regions and small regions on the basis of the differences of their folk culture, as well as the historic traditions of folk architecture and the differences in its characteristic features. To our present knowledge, five such small regions can be distinguished: 1. South Borsod, 2. South Zemplén, 3. North Borsod-GömörTorna, 4. Abaúj, 5. Tokaj-Hegyalja. It is obvious from the list, that the former administration units often prove useful or in cases, geographical terms must be used. It should be noted in advance, however, that there are no strict boundaries among the five enlisted regions. Good examples to this are Taktaköz and Harangod on the north which can as well be connected to South Borsod as to Bodrogköz of South Zemplén that lies on the east of the former. The case is similar with the settlements of Bükkalja.
