DATA TO THE ORTHOPTERAFAUNA IN HERNAD-VALLEY Abstraot A survey of Orthopterous communities of xerothermic grasslands in Hernád-valley /NE-Hungary/ is given. The mean plant associations /Salvio-Festucetum sulcatae, Stipetum capillatae/ can be characterized by the presence and/or abundance of numerous southern continental and/or ponto-mediterranean steppe species /Tettigonia caudata, Gampsocleis glabra, Montana montana and Tessellana vittata, Bicolorana bicolor, Platycleis affinis, Stenobothrus crassipes resp. The similarity of the samples is computed.
