Gál-Mlakár Viktor: „Uram, te voltál nékünk hajlékunk nemzedékről nemzedékre!" Megelőző régészeti feltárás a sajószentpéteri református nagytemplom körül

church has been build. The Saint Nicolaus church was mentioned in 1409 first, but we don't any other written source from the next 250 years. In the 16-17 centurys the plundering Turk-Tartar annies destroied Sajószentpéter. The church was rebuild in 1684 but the owner was the RefonnatedChurch at thet time. A register from 1769wrotte down the sacrity, the fence and cemetery of the church. Around the church ther hasen't been any excavation yet. On the southside of the building we identified the market squar's layer and more constructioal layers. We opserved thin bured layer ont he foregrund of the tower, witch we couldn't connect exactly tothe church. We reached more importand success ont he northern side of the building. Here we explored 4 graves of the 17-18 centurys cemetery. Beside of the northern wall of the church come to likht a large and thick mortary layer above wich there were ceramics from the 15 century, and some denarius of János Hunyadi and Mátyás Hunyadi. Under the mortary layer we identified the earlyest wall of the church, and the constructional layer of it. The mortary layer is from that time when the church had been rebuilt in second half of the 15 century. Viktor MJakár-Gál 245
