DATA FOR BEETLE FAUNA (COLEOPTERA: CANTHAROIDEA, CLEROIDEA, LYMEXYLOIDEA, CUCUJOIDEA [IN PART] AND TENEBRIONOIDEA) IN BODROGKÖZ, NE HUNGARY We collected all information related to Tenebroinoidea, Cantharoidea, Cleroidea and Lymexyloidea beetle groups from the area of the Hungarian Bodrogköz in this essay. The following work gives information about locality and biotop of 186 species belonging to 23 families. There are 3 protected species in processed taxons. We find the first information about research of beetles from Bodrogköz in Lajos Bíró's (1883) works. He mentioned 13 unambiguous species in Bodrogköz. The health officer of Zemplén county, Kornél Chyzer (1885) didn't publish further information. Kuthy (1897) took over some information in his fauna catalogue from former works. Zoltán Kaszab (1938) collected next to Szegi but he mentioned data of only one new species. We didn't find new information about malacodermatous beetles (Malacodermata) in Sándor Horvatovich's work (1969) from this area. László Tóth (1973, 1981) processed specimens of former collections too. New data can't be found among that. Tibor Kovács, Gábor Hegyessy ( 1994) and Dezső Szalóki ( 1998) gave an account of Cerocoma schaefferi (L.) oil beetle species which was found at the beginning of research started in the last decades. Rare in Hungary but it shows a relatively larger population in Bodrogköz. We didn't take ambiguous literature data into consideration with only settlement names (Sárospatak, Sátoraljaújhely, Tokaj) because these towns have important hilly parts too.
