subsequent owners, pantry and storeroom were added. The work of the stonecutters from Erdőbénye was highly appreciated even in distant places. The house of a merchant, Mád The main part of the house was built around 1770, the back part almost hundred years later. The gable roof sits on a collar-beam and roof tiles cover the house with stone gable. The skills of the artisans who made the stone-framed doors and windows as well as their typical iron-plated wings satisfied the highest requirements. A well was dig opposite the entrance to the press house. The well with its stone-lined pit and a well-curb made of logs belongs to the croft. The street side wing of the L-plan building consists of a shop with a surbased spherical vault, a room and a kitchen. A back kitchen with a surbased spherical vault and a pantry follow the two rooms with wooden ceiling in the other wing. A wooden pillar divides the press house in the ground floor. Cross-vaulted storerooms follow on the right and a cradle-vaulted wine cellar on the left. Two ovens are built under the open chimneys in the middle of both kitchens.
