which were tested here at first in Hungary, are alsó the base of every excavations in Hungary in our days. Ottokár Kadic's and his colleagues's accuracy and inventiveness make a relatively good possibility to reconstruct the circumstances, which were specific before and during excavations. We hope that our new approach will go to a more complex interpretation of the cave and the paleolithic life in the future. This study goes intő raw materials and extensity of thc finds of the first and biggest excavation (1906-1913). Our research is elemental scquence of the FKFP project of 1999-2002, and it is encouraged by Prehistory and Ancient History of Department, University of Miskolc and Foundation for The Szcleta Culture.
