The young man is wearing a richly decorated flapping-sleeved shirt and a waistcoat with a velvet collar. Her apron is richly embroidered and adorned with ribbons and several rows of metallized machine lace. There is a necklace of pearls with several rows around her neck. She is holding a rosary, a handkerchief and a flower in her hands. The young man is wearing a shirt with white embroidered sleeves and a fringed tie adorned with metallized machine lace. Beside the wide embroidery his apron is adorned with several rows of metallized machine lace. The flower on his waistcoat and the rosemary on his hat denote the fact that he is a fiance. HOM 2532. The friends of the bride are carrying the shirt of the bridegroom, the weddins present fancy shawl and the rosemary for the hat of the bridegroom and the bridesman in groups to the house of the bridegroom on the morning of the wedding. The apron of their Sunday clothes is almost totally embroidered. The prohibited metallized machine lace is substituted by embroidery. MM. 1503. Fig. 82. A bride and her friends in the 1930s. The bride's dress is already white, the copy of the Maria-girls' dress with a coloured fringed shawl. The girls have long- and short-sleeved aprons adorned with velvet on.
