Room 1I. It shows the sketchy history of the fortress Szi­get from the end of the XIV. century till the Turkish siege in 1566. Room 111. It raises a monument to the memory of the heroes of the siege of Miklós Zrínyi and the defenders of the fortress, by showing the history of the siege on the basis of contemporary delineations, pictures, descriptions and the relics in existence. Room IV. It demonstrates the consequence of the siege and the reaction from abroad. It reminds us of the poet and commander, Miklós Zrínyi, greatgrandson of the hero Zrínyi, author of the first Hungarian heroic poem ,,Zrínyiász" the out­standing leader of the fights against the Turks in the XVII. th century. The „Zrínyiász" was translated into Croatien by Péter Zrí­nyi, the brother of the poet, who participated in the conspiracy against the Hapsburg dynasty and later was executed. The German, Italien translations and the translations in foreign languages made the peoples of Europe acquainted with the resis­tance of Szigetvár. L-formed passage. It demonstrates the history of Szi­get turned into a Turkish border fortress, the rebuilding and the role of the fortress from 1566. till 16&9. when the reoccupa­tion of the fortress took place. The históriai material concer­ning the djami (Turkish church) is exhibited in the corridor in front of the djami. Djami of Sulayman II. The contemporary atmos­phere of the djami, built in the honour of Sultan Sulayman deceased during the siege of Szigetvár, is manifested by some characteristic objects placed the interior of the building.
