Határmezsgyéket járó garabonciás 527 the Ministry of Human Capacities. ?e project was called „Discovery week for Light-watchers”, and it was planned for a special group of elementary-school students who had already taken part in some of our previous educational pro­jects. We showed and analysed the topic of light from several points of view, for example from the aspects of physics, astronomy, botany, zoology, photography and fine arts. Last but not least, in the autumn of 2015 I had the opportunity of leading the educational programs of the exhibition on the poetry of Sándor Weöres, which had arrived to Pécs from the PetőfiLiterary Museum, Budapest. ?e aspects of interdisciplinary methods were especially useful for children aged 7–10, who were really open-minded receivers of the connections between na­ture and poetry. My essay is an attempt to sum up the experiences of the three types of edu­cational projects mentioned above. ?e title evoke one of the supernatural characters of the Hungarian folk-tales, called „Garabonciás”. Garabonciás is a student who wanders across forests and fields and sometimes occurs unexpe­ctidly among the people. He easily gets angry, and wakes up all the winds and storms as a punishment for the mankind. It is a character who does not mind the borders.
