Lugio északi vicusának éremanyaga az 1999–2000 . évi feltárás alapján 265 the vicus is not suitable for drawing definite conclusions. We have searched for analogies to interpret the results obtained by the analysis. Of the published coin finds we studied for comparison those of the vicus and castellum of Intercisa and Arrabona . ?e conclusions that can be drawn from these distributions are closely aligned with historical and literary sources. ?e same can be stated of the Lugio material that also fits into the general picture. In the case of Lugio , the coins date the formation of the vicus to the age of Claudius, although they are not suitable for deducting more detailed results. ?e vicus existed throughout the entire Roman period. but the the time of its abandonment cannot be precisely determined on the basis of the coinage.
