The highest numbers are associated with the innovative temporary exhibitions of popular themes - one of such was the exhibition “Ifyou don't believe me, go see for yourself in 2010. As regards our mobile exhibitions, the interactive installations of the Ottó Hermann Mobile Study Trail in 2014 proved to be both popular and informative. Organised regularly year after year, our temporary photo exhibition “Birds on the ground and in the sky” was now supplemented with innovative museum education sessions. A highly popular museum education genre in our department was the amateur naturalist camp, which has nearly become a talent education type of programme in recent years, since the majority of participants have been returning year after year. Our family programmes organised for special days are the ones that offer the best opportunities for museum activities to gain increased publicity, besides all the adventure provided for visitors. Our regular thematic group programmes and courses in the weekends offer contentful recreation not only for small children with open minds for nature, or teens with an affection for research, but also for adults wishing to acquire practical knowledge. These events have the potential to establish a permanent bond between many of our visitors and our institution. We find it important that we can also meet the demands of our returning regular audience, thus identifying ourselves with the concept of the 'service provider' museum.
