Several small brooks flowing into the lake Balaton still have relatively rich fauna with some generally not frequent hydroptilid species: Orthotrichia tragetti Mos., Oxyethirafalcata Morton, O.flavicornis Pict., Hydroptila vectis Curt. Characteristic species for quick running brooks are also occuring here, some of them are inhabiting alpine biotops e. g.
