SOME NEW AND INTERESTING FUNGI FROM THE SOUTH TRANSDANUBIA AnnaVASS Abstract. Data of 8 rare fungi species are presented. Geastrum huneckii Dörfelt, Sphaerosporium lignalite Schw. and Wardomyces humicola Hennebert et Barron proved to be new for the Hungarian flora. In this publication 8 fungi data are presented from South Transdanubia. Of the enumerated species Ge­astrum huneckii Dörfeltef. (Gasteromyces, Geastra­ceae) Sphaerosporium lignalite Schw. (Deuteromy­cetes, Moniliales: Tuberculaceae) Wardomyces humi­cola Hennebert et Barron (Moniliales: Dematiaceae) are new for Hungary. Rare and in teresting species are: Laboulbenia ophoni Taxter, and Laboulbenia vulga­nsPeyritsch var. oncogona Spegazzini (Ascomycetes, Laboulbeniales: Laboulbeniaceae) Hydnotria tulas­nei Berk, et Br. (Tuberales: Hydnotriaceae) Melano­gaster ambiguus (Vitt.) Tul. (Basidiomycetes: Mela­nogastraceae), Histerangium separabile Zeller (Hyste­rangiaceae). The material is deposited in the herbari­um of the Natural History Department of Museum Ja­nus Pannonius Pécs. Eumycotina Ascomycetes Laboulbeniales Laboulbeniaceae Laboulbenia ophoni Taxter {Bánhegyi et al. — 1985. p. 690: referring from Harpalus and Ophonus — Carabidae —species). On Harpalus marginellus Dej. — From soil-trap nearby village Zákány, 5—24. 7. 1990. Collector: S. Horvatovich, det.: A. Vass Laboulbenia vií/göráPeyritsch var. oncogona Spe­gazzini {Bánhegyietal. —1985 p. 688.: referring from Bembidion species — Carabidae — ). On Bembidion gilvipes Sturm (on thorax, feet and wing-cases), from soil-trap, in the „Lankóci"-forest, alders 29.3—19.4.1990. Collector: S. Horvatovich, det.: A. Vass Tuberales Hydnotriaceae Hydnotria tulasnei Berk, et Br. (Szemere: 1965. p. 123. near Somogyfajsz, at old Turkey oak —Quercus cerris —, and in similar forest collected 3.7. and 20. 7.1955. hasel-nut sized). The Old Juniper Woodland of Bares, between the marsh „Nagyberek" and „Halászház", in oak forest, under old oak-tree, 26.6.1986. Collector and det.: A. Vass Basidiomycetes Hymenogastrales Melanogastraceae Melanogaster ambiguus (Vitt.) Tul. {Szemére.: 1965. p. 200—202. He collected near by village Pa­muk, on 17 locality, and near Somogyfajsz, one loca­lity in the underground-asylum). Mts. Mecsek in the environs of the top „Árpádtető", in the grout of wild­hog, 5. 6.1990. Collector: M. Kürtös, det.: A. Vass Hysterangiaceae Histerangium separabile Zeller (Szemere: 1965. p. 253—254.) Vass Gasteromycetes Geastraceae Geastrum huneckii Dörfeltef. {Dörfelt 1985. p. 93.: Here only one data is from steppe, and photo of holoty­pus.) Mts. Mecsek in valley „Éger-völgy" in the hornbe­am-oak forest, on soil amongst forest litter, 16. 6. 1990. Collectors: A. VassandK. Steinerdet.: A. Vass (PI. I. Fig. 1.) Spores: 6,8—10,9 micron diam., dark brown, rougly verrucose. New species for Hungary.
