SOME NEW AND INTERESTING FUNGI FROM THE SOUTH TRANSDANUBIA AnnaVASS Abstract. Data of 8 rare fungi species are presented. Geastrum huneckii Dörfelt, Sphaerosporium lignalite Schw. and Wardomyces humicola Hennebert et Barron proved to be new for the Hungarian flora. In this publication 8 fungi data are presented from South Transdanubia. Of the enumerated species Geastrum huneckii Dörfeltef. (Gasteromyces, Geastraceae) Sphaerosporium lignalite Schw. (Deuteromycetes, Moniliales: Tuberculaceae) Wardomyces humicola Hennebert et Barron (Moniliales: Dematiaceae) are new for Hungary. Rare and in teresting species are: Laboulbenia ophoni Taxter, and Laboulbenia vulgansPeyritsch var. oncogona Spegazzini (Ascomycetes, Laboulbeniales: Laboulbeniaceae) Hydnotria tulasnei Berk, et Br. (Tuberales: Hydnotriaceae) Melanogaster ambiguus (Vitt.) Tul. (Basidiomycetes: Melanogastraceae), Histerangium separabile Zeller (Hysterangiaceae). The material is deposited in the herbarium of the Natural History Department of Museum Janus Pannonius Pécs. Eumycotina Ascomycetes Laboulbeniales Laboulbeniaceae Laboulbenia ophoni Taxter {Bánhegyi et al. — 1985. p. 690: referring from Harpalus and Ophonus — Carabidae —species). On Harpalus marginellus Dej. — From soil-trap nearby village Zákány, 5—24. 7. 1990. Collector: S. Horvatovich, det.: A. On Bembidion gilvipes Sturm (on thorax, feet and wing-cases), from soil-trap, in the „Lankóci"-forest, alders 29.3—19.4.1990. Collector: S. Horvatovich, det.: A. Vass Tuberales Hydnotriaceae Hydnotria tulasnei Berk, et Br. (Szemere: 1965. p. 123. near Somogyfajsz, at old Turkey oak —Quercus cerris —, and in similar forest collected 3.7. and 20. 7.1955. hasel-nut sized). The Old Juniper Woodland of Bares, between the marsh „Nagyberek" and „Halászház", in oak forest, under old oak-tree, 26.6.1986. Collector and det.: A. He collected near by village Pamuk, on 17 locality, and near Somogyfajsz, one locality in the underground-asylum). Mts. Vass Gasteromycetes Geastraceae Geastrum huneckii Dörfeltef. {Dörfelt 1985. p. 93.: Here only one data is from steppe, and photo of holotypus.) Mts. Mecsek in valley „Éger-völgy" in the hornbeam-oak forest, on soil amongst forest litter, 16. 6. 1990. Collectors: A. VassandK. Steinerdet.: A. Vass (PI. I. Fig. 1.) Spores: 6,8—10,9 micron diam., dark brown, rougly verrucose. New species for Hungary.
