This small phrygancid species has a part in the literature only sometimes, Újhelyi (1981a) mentioned it from Western Hungary, later it is given from Barcs, Darány and Kisdobsza (Újhelyi 1981b, Nógrádi 1985a, Nógrádi et al. 1985). Phryganea grandis Linnaeus, 1758. It has an old data from Kisdobsza (sec Nógrádi et al. 1985). Since that time only these two specimens were presented from Kisdobsza by Nógrádi et al. (1985). In 1986 it was collected on further two sites : at Szcntlőrinc and in Kocsola. It is a species living in streams and rivers on lowlands and known all over Europe and Palearctic Region (Botosâneanu-Malicky 1978). lronoquia dubia Stephens, 1837.
