During our search for the large threshold Td8 in Block IX in the 500X500 cm area E of wall Wl we hit upon the remnants of two walls built perpendicularly to wall Wl at a distance of 300 cm: W45-46 (cf. Fig. 121.). Since these walls had earlier been demolished by bulldozer or in some other way (ditch K/2), their direction could not be established. The earlier wall Wla, dating from the 1. period and running from the S, terminated right at threshold TdS (Fig. 121, 141-144.).
