120 ALICE SZ. BURGER ARTICLES: Courtyard N (Block XII), N end, 50-100 cm: BRONZE PLATE MOUNTS. Two items. a: Flat strap with indented edges, two rivet-holes (one of the rivets recovered) and horizontal grooves. One end broken, the other curved. L: 6,3, W: 1,6, Th: 0,1 cm. b: Same as above with three rivet-holes. Both ends intact. Edges rounded at around the middle. L: 8,8, Th: 0,1 cm. R.83. 128.1. (Cat. V. № 51-52). Courtyard N (Block XII), N half, W side, on stony ground level: BRONZE FITTING FOR COACH. Horse stepping to the left on an oblong-shaped thin pedestal (one rivet­hole in either edge). Stocky, harnessed horse, lifts up right foreleg and left hind leg. Hair of the horseman ribbed, raises right arm as a javelin-thrower (javelin missing!), holds rein in left hand. Horseman in uniform and sharp-heeled boots. Pedestal: 5,7X2,3 cm. Th: 0,1 cm. Horse: H: 5,5, W: 6,8 cm. Horseman: H: 4,9 cm. R.83.129.1. (Figs. HOa-llOb) (Cat. V. № 71). IRON NAIL. Of square cross-section. Head rectangular hammer-flattened, L: 5,3, Th: 0,6-0,1 cm. R.83. 129.2. IRON SHEEP-SHEAR. Bent of wide band, with two tapering blades, L: 31,1, W: 3, Th: 0,2 cm. Blades: L: 13,5, W: 0,3-2,2 cm. R.83. 129.3. (Cat. VI. № 361). FRAGMENT OF MORTAR. Brick-coloured, from the sharply everted thick rim of a braying mortar decora­ted with courved punctate pattern.
