Room H /2, finds made during cleaning (1981) : FRAGMENT OF URN. Light neutral coloured rim and body fragment from a large-sized urn of fine fabric. Rim sharply everted, fluted. Glossy brown paint, punc­tate decoration on the body.L: 11,7, W of rim: 2,3, Th: 0,7 cm. R.83.86.1. (Cat. II. PA-№ 30). FRAGMENT OF DISH. Neutral coloured rim and body fragment of fine fabric. Pinkish, resembles marble. Two apses (G and Z) projected from the S wall of the long painted portico, part of which was furnished w ith heating. Room G (Block III) Figs. 2, 41, 72-75. Radius of the apse (N-S) = 300 cm Walls: W-E = W2/60-65 cm curved = W3/60 cm POINTS OF REFERENCE: 25 = 188,20 (inner level — top of remnant wall) 26 = 188,09 (inner level) 27 = 188,07 (top of wall W3) 28 = 188,24 (top of wall W2) 187,89 (S ground level) 187,04 (foundation of wall W2) 187,09 (foundation of wall W3) A bad-quality, white flooring was unearthed in the small room limited by walls W2—W3 from a depth of — 35 cm measured from the top of wall W2 (187,89 — corresponds to the S ground level!). A layer of burnt bricks and lime was found under this 8 cm thick flooring. Walls W2 — W3 had been built simultaneously.
