Site and circumstances of discovery In 1972 Miklós Kopcsándi, the parson at Mecseknádasd, informed the Janus Pannonius Museum that a grave (here as grave „A") had been found when digging the foundations of the house belonging to Imre Kiszler (Fig. 10—12). The site is situated on the steep slope of a hill ; according to the information given by the lower parts of the slope (Kossuth Lajos utca 41—43, on the northern parts of the plots there are vineyards) since the 1920s. On the surface there are some bones, showing bronze staining, which are still turning up at the present time. János Schulz, former owner of the plot in 43.
