A) O: SW— NE; D: 128 cm (at the head-end) — 108 cm (at the foot-end); L: 242 cm; W: 54—60 cm; L. of the skeleton: 161 cm. Male skeleton in extended supine position. Skull tilted somewhat to the right, forearms extended beside the pelvis. Ornaments of for a mount-decorated belt around the pelvis: cast bronze buckle (Fig. 9. 3.; Fig. 20), hinged, between the right caput femoris and the right ilium, with its tongue to the right. Cast bronze belt-mounts (Fig. 9.5; Fig. 20.5—10), hinged ones on the following spots: inside the upper part of the left femur, on the left spina iliaca, by the upper edge of the left ilium and on the line of the right articulatio sacroiliaca, on the edge of the right ilium (in the spina iliaca region) and on the trochanter maior of the right femur, a belt-mount without pendant came from an unknow position. Propeller shaped mount (Fig. 9.4; 20.12) on the right ilium (in the spina iliaca region). Cast bronze large strap-end (Fig. 9.1; Fig. 20.14) outside the upper part of the left femur. Four cast bronze smMl strap-ends (Fig. 9.2. ; Fig. 19—22), one by one as follows: in the middle of the pelvis, under the sacrum, outside the left femur (one strap-end came from an unknown position). Cast bronze belt-hole guards (Fig. 9. 6; Fig. 20.2—4), one by one on the following spots: outside the left ilium, by the left caput femoris (the find-spot of the third belt-hole guard is unknown). Eight mounts for the pendent straps (Fig. 9.7; Fig. 20.11—18), cast in bronze, around the pelvis. Rectangular iron buckle (Fig. 9.8; Fig. 20.26) on the sacrum. Bronze plate belt-loop (Fig. 9.9 : Fig. 20.27) between the left ilium and the left forearm. Iron knife (L: 22 cm) outside the right hand. Fragment of an iron knife beside the point of the first knife, at right angles to it. Broken animal tibia (cattle?) outside the lower end of the left femur.
