SALAMON-ALBERT-LŐRINC: SZIBÉRIAI NŐSZIRMOS GYEPEK SZERVEZŐDÉSE 181 Compositional, structural state and dynamics of Iris sibirica grasslands on lowland of Mecsek hills ÉVA SALAMON-ALBERT 1 & PÉTER LŐRINCZ 2 1 University of Pécs, Department of Systematics and Geobotany, H-7624 Pécs, Ifjúság útja 6., e-mail: albert@gamma.ttk.pte.hu 2Radnóti Miklós Economic Secondary School, H-7633 Pécs, Esztergár Lajos u. 6., e-mail: lorpet@gamma.ttk.pte.hu Gölyényi meadows natural wet grasslands are potentially important from conservational point of view in the Pécsi-síkság region. Data collecting and analyses were carried out between 2006-2009. Three studied communities differ in land use management and disturbance regime, a hard mowing of herbs and shrubs in Carici vulpinae-Alopecuretum pratensis, a moderate mowing in Cirsio cani-Festucetum pratensis once a year and without any human management or land use in Iridetum sibiricae. Species of protected plants were low in the vegetation stands with 7 species. Vegetation stands were compositionally and structurally analysed by constant, dominant and diagnostic species, ecological indicator values, social behaviour types, life forms and chorological types. Vegetation types have numerous dominant species (18), stands can be differentiated by significant diagnostic species: 16 species in Cirsio cani-Festucetum pratensis, 6 species in Iridetum sibiricae and 1 species in Carici vulpinae-Alopecuretum. In them European (EUR), Eurasian (EUA), submediterranean (SUB) and cosmopolitan (KOZ) species as chorological types were the most frequent. Among life form categories hemicryptophytes (H), geophytes (G) and helo-hydatophytes (HH) were present in each of vegetaion types. Naturalness of the vegetation characterized by the categories of Social Behaviour Types were different in the stands: ratio of natural species were the lowest in Carici vulpinae-Alopecuretum pratensis, the highest was in Cirsio cani-Festucetum pratensis, with great proportion of the generalists (G) and a relative high ratio of specialists (S). A short time dynamics in Iridetum sibiricae was detected by increasing of constant diagnostic species (IV and V) according to generalists, disturbance tolerants and weeds, possibly caused by natural dinamics under lack of any land use management.
