Cumania 28. CUMANIA 28 - YEARBOOK OF THE KATONA JÓZSEF MUSEUM OF KECSKEMÉT SUMMARIES Erika Wicker pp. 7-10 EDITOR'S FOREWORD When I took over the editorial tasks of the yearbook Cumania, may main aim was to renew the yearbook both in terms of form and content - the last three volumes had been published in this spirit. New sub-heads were introduced, such as the 'Authors of this volume', 'Methods', or 'Name card'. The methodological chapter introduces the reader with the most successful exhibitions of the museum, displays the text and script beside the inaugurals of the exhibitions. The latter chapter brings out local scholars or experts, who themselves do not work in museums, but their work greatly contributes to regional museology. Their debut is followed by a short biographical note and a list of publications. Hopefully, this initiative will be successful on a long term. In addition, as editor, I hope that these innovations will inspire more scholars to publish their high standard papers in the volumes of Cumania. IN MEMÓRIÁM GYÖRGY SZÉKELY (1955-2017) pp. 11-22 In 2017, György Székely, archaeologist-chief museologist, expert in numismatics tragically passed away in a car accident.
