Fig. 19. Fragments of the quiver and its reconstructed drawing 19. kép. íj tegez this is not case with the grave find found at the Radnóti Road at Kiskunfélegyháza. 11 The ornamentation of the small sabretache handle mounting could not be easily derived from floral elements, but if István Dienes sabretache reconstructions are considered, and the mounting is attached to the handle strap standing on its tip, the anthropomorhic representation is evident (Plate 20/13). This human face can be even better recognized of the В grave of Bashalom, and on the better similar pieces of the Karos find. 12 Besides the above the relation with the parallel of the no. 6 grave of Tuzsér, published only in drawing is also evident. 13 As far as the origin of the mounting type is concerned, it was of a floral nature, proven by the finds of Kisdobra and Farkasrét." The question of the human face representation of the mounting is doubted, although the realistic representations of live beings, or their stylized versions are known from the conquest Period. Reference has to be made to the fox-head mounting; of the Bodroy;szerdahely sabretache plate, 15 and the shield-shape sabretache handle strap mounting of the Ujfehértó-Micske ranch published concurrently by István Dienes. 1 " The relationship of the latter with the fox-head M/:l similar small strap end was found in the material of the 1937 Bodrogszerdahely Conquest Period cemetery in Prague. 1.
