Finds of the grave SADDLE, a) "S" curved (left) bone plate cover of the front pommel. A pair of bone plates, widening on the top, tapering at the bottom (Plate 9, figs. 11—12). It is made of two pieces along a diagonal line, both covered with net-palmette ornament­ation. The fastening to the pommel was done by one and two 0.5 cm 0 holes respectively. The up­per part of the plate pair and their straight termi­nation to the pommel mounts are bordered by an about 6 mm wide, bone plate, fastened by iron nails. Both plates are in a good state of preserva­tion. Length: 12.8 cm. Width: 4.9 cm. Length: 12.9 cm. Width: 5.0 cm. b) "S" curved (right) bone plate cover of the front pommel, opposite pair. The upper part brittle parts from the saddle-tree side lacking (Plate 10, fig. 6; Plate 13). The upper plate member slipped under the lower, which is fragmented all around and is in very brittle condition. Ornamentation similar to the left pair, although the net-palmette can be hardly traced on the lower part.
