Peter Toth: Rituális tevékenység Szlovákiában a neolitikum és rézkor idején

Ritual practices in the Neolithic and Eneolithic in Slovakia y////////////////////z Abrahám corresponds very weil with anthropomorphic pottery. In connection with more intensive hunting activities during earlier stages of the Lengyel culture, there is a thought of a possible analogy to the ancient Greek goddess Artemis. As a patron of hunting she was represented together with game and among other animals with the bear, as well (Pavúk 1981, 47-48). Vessels with animal body continuously appear during the Eneolitic, while maintaining the Neolithic links. A vessel from Pohronskÿ Ruskov (fig. 15) dated to the Epilengyel is allegedly denoted by two bird heads opposing each other on the maximum carination (Paulik 1980, 80). Peculiar is a hollow figurine dated to the Baden culture from Zvolen (fig. 16), which very realistically depicts a Fig. 13.
