Cs. Andrási Réka: A Madaras-Árvai-dűlői honfoglalás kori temető az új kutatások tükrében
The cemetery of Madaras-Arvai dúló revisited in the light of modern research around the feet. Grave 6 contained 34 mounts around the feet, but these were decorated and covered with gold. The decoration in the middle is somewhat elevated and bent. A star-shaped element around it, that is divided into six pieces and contains rivets on the backside. These boots were common in the 10th century. All types of aforementioned objects were used in the 10th century, thus we can conclude that there were no burials in the 11th century on Árvai-dülő. It is likely that this graveyard was used in the second third of 10th century, and the richly ornamented clothes and footwear nicely represent the peculiarities of the clothes in that period like the overclothes decorated with rhombic shift ornament or the boots decorated with silverheaded rivets (Andrási-Langó 2016, 325). It is true, however that only 6 burials were found in Árvai-dűlő. Mihály Kőhegyi however, examined the surrounding 530 square meters but found no signs of additional burials. This means that this is a small but rich graveyard, which despite the small number of graves still lets us believe that Hungarians already lived in North-Bácska in the middle of the 10th century. A madaras-árvai-dűlői honfoglalás kori temető az új kutatások tükrében Észak-Bácska egyik leggazdagabb, s elsőként, hitelesen feltárt 10. századi temetője Madaras-Árvai-dűlő lelőhelyen található. Ezen a területen eddig nagyon kevés, régész által kutatott honfoglalás kori lelőhelyről van tudomásunk (Andrási-Langó 2016, 323-328). A temetőt Kőhegyi Mihály 1980-ban publikálta a CommArchHung hasábjain német nyelven (Kőhegyi 1980, 205-239), azonban ebben a munkában az új, korszerűbb módszerek, irodalmak tükrében dolgozom fel újra az általa feltárt temetkezéseket. Madaras község Bács-Kiskun megye déli részén, a Bácsalmási járásban, a szerb-magyar határ közelében helyezkedik el. Madaras-Árvai-dülő a községtől északra, a Bácsalmásra vezető müúttól kb. 600 m-re lelhető fel. A lelőhely kb. 140-160 m hosszú, s 60-70 m széles, kissé csepp alakú dombon található (Kőhegyi 1980, 205-206). Az első két sír 1976 májusában látott napvilágot homokbányászás során, ezen temetkezéseket a munkagép teljesen megbolygatta, azonban a leleteteket szerencsés módon elkülönítették a munkások. A mentőfeltárásra 1976 őszén került sor, melyet a múzeum akkori régésze Kőhegyi Mihály végzett, ekkor 3 temetkezést talált, majd 1977-ben további 1 sír került elő, szintén egy mentőfeltárás keretében (Kőhegyi 1980, 206-209). 162
