Finds belonging to group I can be characterised with Mongoloid components (fig. 1-3), showing similarities with Mongoloid type-complex of the region between rivers Danube and Tisza (LIPTÁK 1959, LIPTÁK-MARCSIK 1976, LIPTÁK-VARGA 1974). h century) significantly differs from group I, because here Mongoloid elements are entirely absent. The latter finds are of Europid character. We suggest that group II belongs to a new population. 182
