Levéltári Közlemények, 61. (1990) 1–2. - FORRÁSKÖZLÉS - Ember Győző: A magyar királyi pozsonyi kamara zárszámadása 1542-ben / 63–143. o.

143 The first part is composed of incomings, on the one hand, and extra expenditures, on the other. The list of incomings takes up half a page, while expenditures take up 22 pages. The enumeration was made in a chronological order, including months and days. The last page is reserved for chamber employees. A separate part was taken by taxes offered by free royal and mining towns to the sovereign at the Diet of Beszterce. Similarly, this part lists incomings first, then the expenditures. Items of income take up less than a page, while expenditures take up three and a half, in a chronological order, by months and days. This part had to be sumbitted by the Chamber of Pozsony directly to the king. The third and most substantial part of the accounts is entitled "Regestum subsidii unius floreni et sexagesimae colonorum anni 1542 in dieta Novisoliensi ordinata". The title is insufficient, since the Diet dealt not only with taxing of villeins, but also noblemen, priests and millers owning one hide of land. This part of the accounts is divided by counties. There were 25 counties belonging to royal Hungary in 1524, following each other unsystematically in the accounts. However, within each county there certainly is a system. Names of persons commissioned with taxing (dicators), as well as types and amounts of taxes levied and collected are indicated therein. Ember Győző
