-series etc.) at any level in the classification scheme. Note: in MoReq2 class is also used to mean all the records allocated to a class. MoReq2010: (entity) A unit of classification that may be associated with an aggregation or a record. In MoReq2010® classes always have a default disposal schedule which is inherited by any record they classify, in accordance with the principle from ISO 15489, that “Classification of business activities acts as a powerful tool to assist the conduct of business and in many of the processes involved in the management of records including... determining appropriate retention periods and disposal actions for records.” (ISO 15489-1:2001, 9.5.1) See also classification
