PUBLICATION OF MEDIEVAL DIPLOMAS, LETTERS, BUSINESS RECORDS AND OTHER ARCHIVAL RESOURCES IN HUNGARY BETWEEN 2005 AND 2016 (Publications and abstracts) The research and publication of medieval diplomas and other types of archival sources dating from the period before the catastrophe of 1526 is in a real renaissance in Hungary. Thanks to Richárd Horváth’s collection work, we also have a bibliography of the diploma publications between 1991 and 2004. Because of the Collection of the medieval diploma publications — written by Emma Bartoniek in 1929, republished by István Draskóczy and István Soós, released in 1991 – almost all medieval diploma publications in Hungary are well-documented and their bibliographic databases are easily accessible to researchers and non-professionals. This collection, based on the works of these researchers, classified into five categories according to the sorting criteria and format established in 1991, publishing diplomas from the period. This collection contains a total of 339 bibliographic entries, 7981 publications, 26,002 abstracts and 466 mostly complete translations.
