1921 No. 775. 4998/pol. The Representative of the Hungarian Government in Belgrade, Mr. Kolossá, to the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Count Bánffy. [TRANSLATION] No. 70/P0I. BELGRADE, August 26, 1921. Pursuant to your telegraphic instruction No. 97 1 I addressed a note to Mr. Pasic, the Yugoslav Prime Minister informing him that I was instructed to represent the Hungarian Government at the funeral of the late King. 2 I was assigned places both in the Cathedral and in the funeral procession among the special envoys of foreign powers. On August 23 Mr. Pasic gave a dinner in honour of the special envoys and on this occasion he again expressed his thanks for my participation. I have the impression that this step of the Hungarian Government has created a very good impression here and may help in easing the tension between the two countries. No. 776. 5053/pol. The Minister of Hungary in Vienna, Mr. Masirevich, to the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Count Bánffy. [TRANSLATION] Code telegram No. 341. VIENNA, August 27, 1921. With reference to my code telegram No. 339 of the 26th inst. 3 I would remind you that I have already sent a detailed account of the step taken on the basis of instructions No. 334/res. pol. 4 and of the statements made on that occasion by Chancellor Schober on the 20th inst. in my code telegram No. 326.® This was supplemented by Dr. Schober's letter which I reported by telegram yesterday. The final result depends, of course, on to1 Supra, Doc. No. 750. 1 Peter. 3 Supra, Doc. No. 773. 4 Supra, Doc. No. 730. 6 Supra, Doc. No. 748.
