1921 io55 evacuation of territories still occupied by the Yugoslavs. The preliminary military agreements necessary to evacuation have been prepared by the Allied Mission in Pécs for Bácska and Baranya as well as for this territory. Special instructions for the territory of Szeged are therefore entirely uncalled-for. You are furthermore requested to point out that the statement of the Belgrade Government, according to which the purpose of occupation hitherto has been to maintain connections between the Serbian territories on both banks of the Tisza, is nothing but a meaningless subterfuge since no contacts can be maintained even during occupation without crossing Hungarian territory at Szeged.
