Then the House will be in a position to scrutinize closely the work of the Peace Delegation in Paris and it will have the opportunity to examine in detail all questions so that it will be fully prepared to deal properly with the ratification of the peace treaty when that issue is presented . . . 4. Excerpts from the Minutes of the 58th meeting of the National Assembly, June 11, 1920. Records of the National Assembly, vol. 3, pp. 329 ff. Mr. John Weber [after informing the House of complaints against the conduct of Yugoslav authorities on the occupied territories, addressed the Minister for Foreign Affairs as follows] : „1. Has the Minister for Foreign Affairs knowledge of the continued atrocities committed by the Serbs on territories which they still occupy but which by virtue of the peace treaty belong to Hungary? 2. Is the Minister prepared to use all means at his disposal to put an end to such atrocities? 3. Has the Minister knowledge of a statement by Serb authorities that they will occupy for twenty years the triangle in Northern Bácska and the city of Baja which were allotted to Hungary? 4. Has the Minister taken or does he intend to take any steps to have the provisions of the peace treaty, allotting these territories to Hungary, carried out and to have them evacuated by the Serbs without delay? . .." Mr. Karafidth [states that he intended to address an inter­pellation on the same subject but he yields to Mr. Weber]. The Speaker [following a decision of the House that he invite the Minister for Foreign Affairs, who was attending a cabinet meeting, to appear and answer the interpellation, suspends the meeting]. [After the arrival of the Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Speaker called the House to order to receive the Minister's answer.]
