Résumé The Opening of the Romanian Foreign Policy and the Situation of Romania in the Socialist Bloc, in the Light of Hungarian Diplomatic Documents, 1965-1968 This paper is dealing with the period of the first years of Ceau§escu's leadership and the issue of Romanian unconventional opening toward the West, which caused the country to be perceived a kind of rebel of the Socialist bloc. The analysis is based mostly on documents from the Archives of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through which the attitude of the Hungarian Diplomacy toward actions of Romanian politics can be traced and documented. Romanian foreign policy during Ceau§escu's first years had a series of characteristics, which survived until 1989, the fall of the regime, and many of them are practiced even nowadays by the official Romanian diplomacy. Such characteristics are the policy of balance between the leading powers of the Socialist bloc, the Soviet Union and 2014. tél 75
