Résumé Europeanization in the Mirror of the Italian EU-Coordination The author discusses the organizational model and procedural order of the Italian EU- coordination, and she analyzes the realization of the Europeanization process on the level of one of the member states through the Italian case study. The organizational structure and the procedural orders of handling matters related to integration have evolved within the member states differently. However, a sort of unifying tendency can be perceived concerning the coordination processes and the institutions in charge of them with the deepening of the integration. The constant changes of the European institutions and the decision-making processes undoubtedly exert a significant influence on the national and self-governing bodies of the member states, and they force the application of a more efficiant coordination model. The governments of the member states get accustomed to the decision-making processes of the Union for the sake of a more efficient operation. The process of Europeanization can be understood as a result of the Italian government's reforms in the past few decades. It provides a framework in which the impact of the decision-making processes of the institutions of the European integration on the national and sub-national institutions of the Italian political system can clearly be demonstrated. Integration has unequivocally influenced the national and regional decisionmaking, coordinating, and governing structures and actors by changing their tasks, responsibilities in harmony with the principles of a multilevel governance. . nyár 2008 77
