8. The shoes. The shoes are of smooth black patent leather, with rubber side elastics, without any trimmings or toe-pieces. 9. The cloak. The cloak is made of dark-green cloth similar to the cut of the dress-coat (Mac Farlan), consisting of sleeves in the form of a collar and of an undercoat with one row of buttons of which there are seven, showing the coatof-arms with the crown. The collar is of black velvet, the lining of black silk. On the left side there is an aperture for the sword. II. The tropic gala-uniform. This uniform may be worn also at ceremonials and festive occasions in places where the local custom permits. At these events even the decorations may be worn, whereas, as a rule, to this uniform only the ribbons of the decorations should be used. 1. The jacket. The jacket is made of white drill-linen. Its cut is like that of the jacket worn by the officers of the lloyal Hungarian Army, with a military upright collar, and a double-folded stitched breast-pocket. In front there are five great gold buttons showing the coat-of-arms with the crown while the pockets are provided with one button each, of the same pattern. To this jacket belong detachable sleeve facings of cherry-red velvet and epaulettes of the same material. The sleeve facings and epaulettes are embroidered in gold conform to the embroidery of the dress-coat of the galauniform and varying, according to the rank, as shown in fig. 3/a, b, and c. 2. The trousers. The trousers are made of the same material as the jacket, without any trimmings or galloons. 3. The tropical helmet. The helmet is made of cork, covered with smooth white linen, shaped conform to the so-called "Wolseley" helmet used in the British colonial service. In front of the helmet there is the Hungarian coat-of-arms, with the crown made of gold and having a diameter of not more than 5 cm. (See fig. 6/a.). 4. The boots. The boots are of white leather, without any trimmings and have to be worn with white stockings ; or else boots of smooth black patent-leather, like those to be worn with the gala-uniform. 5. The gloves. The gloves are of white leather. 6. The sivord. The same as in the case of the galauniform, but with a white sword-belt. 7. The cape. The cape is made of white cloth, with a black velvet collar; its cut is that of three quarters of a complete circle, reaching below the knees and having seven great gold buttons at its front, each showing the coat-of-arms with the crown, III. Mourning. During the mourning period a black badge has to be worn on the upper part of the left sleeve, and white gloves. Budapest, July 18 t h, 1929. sgd. Walko.
