Diplomáciai Iratok Magyarország Külpolitikájához 1936-1945, 5. kötet

Iratok - I. A nyugati offenzíva hatása a magyar külpolitikára (1940. május 11.—1940. június 26.)

(211/4/40) Dear Count Csáky, Since our conversation" this morning have found in the Legation full information about the position of the Danish Minister in London which is az follows : — The Danish Minister in London has been informed that he no longer has official status but that he may continue to deal informally with interests of Danish subjects, Danish shipping and so forth in cases where his activities may be of use to His Majesty's Government. Count Reventlow has also been informed that his diplomatic immunities will be continued as an act of grace. He may not, however, use cyphers or communicate directly with the Danish Government, though he may communicate with King Christian on purely royal matters of a domestic nature, through the United States representative in Great Britain and at Copenhagen; as well as with his Danish colleagues abroad (using the ordinary methods of communication, but under supervision) on matters in which His Majesty's Government are interested. As regards Danish subjects in the United Kingdom they will in general be treated as neutral allies from a country under alien control, in the same way as Slovak citizens are already treated. Danish seamen and others engaged in activities of advantage to the Allies will be treated as friendly neutrals. "Lásd az 1. sz. iratot és 2. sz. jegyzetét. 122
