You are invited to the Ninth Annual Political Action Workshop June 4-6,2000 University of Mary land College Park, Maryland Specialists in government relations, grassroots politics, information networks, and the media will provide presentations on accessing and influencing American policy on human rights and minority rights concerns. The workshop will focus on practical know-how about human rights and minority issues in Central and Eastern Europe, particularly Slovakia, Kosovo, Bosnia, Vojvodina, and the former Republics of the USSR, including Georgia, Armenia, and Moldova. If you are interested in participating in this workshop please call or fax for additional information. A limited number of "workshop scholarships" are available to individuals with financial difficulties who cannot cover the cost of registration, housing, or meals.
