I I feel and I propose that at present there should be some more cohesive, yet voluntary, basis on which cultural organizations could cooperate in a clearing-house effort to avoid the pancaking and overlapping. It may be well to consider calling into being something like a "Council of American Hungarian Philanthropies." The past has taught us severe lessons, which should be heeded. Organizations, by the multitude, have come and gone. The energies and resources that go into them should be conserved.
