Hungarian Heritage Review, 1991 (20. évfolyam, 1-11. szám)
1991-03-01 / 3. szám
Letters-to-the-Editor Dear Mr. Pulitzer: Thank you for the magazines! You were right, the articles are well written, and this is what I have been looking for. My boy, Tommy, is very much interested in learning about our history. As he tells me "I am very proud to be of Hungarian descent."He is interested in ancestors, sometimes the kids kidding with him about our "barbarian ancestors". His answer is simple: "What the settlers have done in this country to the native indians, was far more barbaric, because they were supposed to be educated Christians." Anyway, I will send some of these away for my friends, and I will show them my copies. Enclosed you will find two checks: one for my subscription and the other for a donation to the "HHR BENEFIT FUND". Mrs. & Mrs. Joseph Bukovensky Pasadena, California Dear Mr. Pulitzer: Enclosed you will find my check for $25.00 for my renewal of the Hungarian Heritage Review. It is nice to know that we have a magazine that gives us Hungarian-Americans news of our unique group. Keep up the good work! Julius Hollub West Seneca, N.Y. Dear Mr. Pulitzer: I would like to congratulate you for the excellent job you have done to date to keep the magazine alive. Your effort and dedication have been very much appreciated by us all who treasure and cherish our Hungarian heritage. Keep up the good work! Ignác Fodor Coquitlam, British Columbia Dear Fellow Hungarians: I am very happy to renew my subscription to the very interesting and educational "HHR". Clancy Trenton, New Jersey Dear Mr. Pulitzer: Thank you so much for your help in locating the village where my husband's parents came from in Hungary. Here is a small donation for your work. I wish it could be more, but we are on a fixed income. Your magazine is too good to keep to myself. My gratitude for your wonderful work. Josef Bernhardt Green Valley, Arizona MARCH 1991 HUNGARIAN HERITAGE REVIEW 3
