a non-profit organization-The “HUNGARIAN HERITAGE REVIEW” is much more than a monthly magazine to be read and enjoyed. It is also a publication which has three (3) important missions. These are:

1. To help bridge the “language-barrier" between the “Forgotten Generations" of American and Canadian-born citizens of Hungarian descent and the mainstream of Hungarian community life in the United States and Canada and, by this means, help to revitalize it in order to assure the preservation and perpetuation of the Hungarian Heritage in North America;

2. To help enhance the public image of the Hungarian community at-large within the structure of the pluralistic societies the United States and Canada have become; and

3. To help promote greater public knowledge of and appreciation for the outstanding Hungarian contributions to the political, economic, educational, cultural, and social developments of the United States and Canada.
